I know we are supposed to pace ourselves when eating, and I am. But after just a small bite, I am feeling full and gassy. Sometimes even really nauseous. And it makes it really hard to get my 64oz of Water in. (I know I am always complaining about fluids).

Any one else?

You're still pretty early out. Your stomach is probably still quite swollen. Had my 6 week follow-up with my surgeon yesterday, and he said that I'll probably be another 2 weeks before the swelling is completely gone. Hang in there.

Water made me sick to my stomach at first. I think it could be part of the healing with some. I read several people couldn't drink it plan. I would add milo, crystal light something I could tolerate to get in some liquids. I am almost two months out and still only get around 20 oz of liquid a day.

Your still just out of surgery so definitely your stomach would be swollen still.

I am 9 weeks out today and yesterday was the first day I noticed that I could finally get more food in than previously (i.e. previously I could maybe eat 1/4 cup of chili and yesterday I could eat 1/2 cup). So my swelling is likely gone or almost gone.

Just stick to easy things like greek yogurt, Protein shakes, Soups etc. so that your stomach heals fast. I found it hard to get my liquids in at first too, just keep sipping! I felt like I constantly had a glass in my hand or lips for the 1st month. I can now take pretty big swigs of Water and on the days where Water just isn't working for me I add the water flavour drops.

I'm only 4 days post-op and am having very little problem taking relatively large drinks of Fluid, although I can only take about two drinks until I feel like I'm filling up. Should I be concerned that my doc maybe left my sleeve too large if I can already drink like this?

Your surgeon probably did a perfect job. liquid goes through much faster than food. If you can chug Water that's amazing because one of the hardest things to do post op is get to 64oz of fluids. You are lucky.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
