I don't think you ever get rid of it. Some people opt for surgery, I myself am just learning to deal with it. I wear compression gear under my clothes. It is a small price to pay but I don't miss my old self one bit.

It should be noted also that I am lifting weights, and doing cardio training like a man possessed.

I had a Tummy Tuck after losing all my weight with the lapband (had to get revised to bypass may 21) but I got a tummy tuck and honestly it was worth EVERY DAMN PENNY! Lol I loved not having to wear Spanx, having a flat tummy, no skin fold irritation and best thing looking decent in a bikini! Yes a bikini! It gave me so much confidence. It was less than the price of a new car and as my hubby says he will get many more miles out of me than some car lol! I suggest saving your penny's from all the $ you will save on food! :)

I just got some compression shirts from Walmart. The short sleve ones go for around $10 and the long sleve for $13. Much cheaper than online prices. I am thinking though about surgery to remove the skin. However, I an less than 6 months out and not sure when I qualify for that.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
