Maybe this will be helpful, I know I am interested!

I am 3 1/2 months post-op

Breakfast- same as every day, coffee with heavy cream and most of a Slim Fast shake. I can't manage solids in the am

Lunch- Artichoke, boiled until it's really soft with mayonaise, I aslo had some Beano drops. 3 thin slices dry salami

Dinner- going out, will have home smoked salmon from the starter menu, it comes with garlic aioli and toast points. I usually only have one of the toast points. While husband and children are having salads and starters I will enjoy 2 glasses of wine. I will also eat one bite of dessert if someone orders one.

Tonight- most likely a scoop of lime sorbet, I have it almost every night.

Breakfast: 1 scrambled egg w/ shredded low-fat cheese 1/2 slice whole wheat toast (I probably left 3 bites of egg and 2 bites of toast)

Lunch: pepper chicken and broccoli about 1 cup total

Snack: trail mix with raisins/cashews/peanuts and dried pineapple (ate more than I should have!)

Dinner: 4 oz. broiled whitefish, 1/2 cup carrots

This was my first day off clear liquids--I had homemade egg custard for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Yummy! Gee, if I had remembered how easy it is to make, I would have been eating this all along (probably all 6 servings in one sitting, though... ).

Yesterday...

I had an Atkins shake for breakfast and lunch, Dannon Activia yogurt and 1oz veggie chips for my Snacks. Crystal light throughout the day.

dinner - ate at a restaurant for the first time since being banded. Had a 2 small forkfulls of mac - n cheese, 2 forkfulls of crab and spinach dip, the inside of a crabcake, a few peas. May sound like a lot but it really wasn't. Had all the variety without overstuffing myself!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
