I am expecting to get my sleeve done in Oct or Nov. I haven't even started my 90 day nutrition yet (there's a group session at the end of this month that will start my 90 day clock), so I'm thinking late Sept. at the very earliest.

I'm in the process now of gathering the documentation to send to insurance. I have an appointment with my primary care doc today to get a recommendation from him.

Anyone else with me for fall? It seems like most posters here are Spring/Summer sleevers.

Hello:

Yes, my surgeon said I should be around Halloween time frame. I am 2 months into 6 month diet and nutrition with doctor oversight. So our time frame is about the same.

This is month 1 for me, so if all goes to plan I might get a surgery date for late Nov. I have to go through the 6 months program per my insurance.

I am scheduled for November 3rd. I am so ready to get this started!! I am a self pay because my insurance does not cover WLS surgery and therefore I chose to do my surgery in Mexico.

Hello everyone! I had my first consult yesterday and also have a 6 month program with insurance to fulfill before coverage. Last weight check is oct 21st so probably beginning of Nov will be my surgery date. Best wishes to all!

Hi everyone: I am likely going to be a fall sleever. I have begun the process (attended my seminar and 1st NUT class on Tuesday) and have 2 more NUT classes, psych eval and EGD to complete. I also will have a one on one with my surgeon before my surgery date is scheduled. I am very excited to see this through. Best of luck to everyone on your journey!

If everything goes as planned I'm looking at an early Fall / late Summer date. Just need to get a three month supervised diet out of the way. My guess is it'll land around September. Good luck to everyone!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
