Plastic Surgery Scheduled for June 24!

Recommended Posts

Ok I finally have my plastic surgery scheduled for June 24th! I'm going to be having a full Tummy Tuck, breast lift with augmentation( he's going to run the incision along the side of my boob as well because I used to have side fat which is now hanging skin) and also getting my arms done! I'm soo excited and can't wait till the day comes!! This was a shock as I didn't know how I would be able to afford it... My 5 year anniversary was Tuesday and my husband gave me a card with the exact amount of money for the procedure in it and said go get your surgery honey !!! I cried I was soo happy!!

Those are the same procedures I want done except I'm not sure if I want implants or just a lift. I'm a runner and have a D cup so I don't want to be any bigger.

Are you afraid of having them all done at once?

I've talked to my therapist about it and she is advising me to wait until August at least before I look into it (because of other stresses in my life at the moment). I live in Florida, so I didn't want the compression garments in the summer anyway.

No I'm not afraid!! I wish I could get a inner thigh lift as well but he said that's one too many procedures and I will have to wait for that one! Oh well! He said because I am in such good health and my body is in such great shape I will do great having multiple procedures at once. I know it will suck having to wear compression garments during the summer but I will just stay in the AC for the most part while healing so I should e ok. I am scared of the pain but I know that it will be ok after a while! As for the implants.. I am currently wearing a 32dd from Victorias Secret, but the cup had become to big... You can see my chest wall and my rib cage at the top portion of my breast and there's not much at the bottom. He said after the lift I will be lucky if they are even a B cup... There's just no breast tissue left at all! So that's why I am having implants placed under the muscle ! We are going back and forth between 325 and 350cc's...

That's exciting news! ! That was very nice of your husband! If you don't mind where are you doing your surgery? I've been looking into plastics myself but for next year and ice decided to do the tummy tuck plus my beat lift with implants as well but have not decided on my bat arms yet I'm so scared of the scars... what did your doctor tell you about the scars?

I live near Hampton Roads area in Va and I'm using Plastic Surgery Center of Hampton Roads. Dr. Vonu to be exact. He said the scars should fade nicely to almost invisible because of my skin time and my previous scars. .

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
