sleeve post op sore throat

Hello All,

I was sleeved on Monday and developed a sore throat soon after. Also, having trouble getting liquids down and home on oxygen. Hoping to turn the corner soon. Any encouragement would me much appreciated. Nina

It will get better Nina!!! If the sore is deep, call your Dr, and ask about gerd or acid reflux. Excess stomach acid can fool you.

If is just red sore throat that you can see in your upper throat, try hot tea or sugar free frozen pops.

I'm feeling for you, get better soon!!!!
