My favorite thing was pureed taco beef and refried Beans. I ate it almost every meal for months before I got tired of it.

Here's the recipe:

I made a greek seasoned ground lamb/beef and onion, which I pureed with greek yogurt and feta with a touch more greek seasoning. It was awesome.

I'm not sure if this was a good idea, but I pureed half of a Lean Cuisine. It was so good!

My doctor told me that tuna with a little mayo and mustard or whatever seasoning is good. I also just like having a lot if different creamed soups! If you add your own blend if spices it makes them a little more exciting. Also cottage cheese is good and refried Beans with some cheese :)

My doc allowed scrambled eggs. Eggbeaters are good too. Eggs were a lifesaver because Soups really had me bummed out! I would also cook some chicken up in a skillet then throw it in the food processor with some chicken gravy. Once you get past the visual it's really quite tasty!

Scrambled eggs, homemade chicken Soup blasted in a blender. My surgeon allowed white, flaky fish so I had lots of that. Baked Beans were also allowed. Do a search for ricotta bake here, I've heard it's mighty tasty! Cottage cheese and egg whites with pickle relish.

Be well…

I'm lazy so I am just going to copy and paste an earlier post I made:

I was on full liquids for four weeks after surgery (and true liquids, not this "yogurt is a liquid, pudding is a liquid" stuff). So after four weeks of that, pureed meat tasted great to me! The trick for me was to puree it with a flavorful sauce, NOT broth, stock, or Water -- then heat it up in the microwave with some cheese melted on top. It tasted just like a casserole type dish. I mostly used canned meats, or the meat you can buy in the little single serving pouches. The flavored ones were especially good. Some of my favorites:

thai spicy tuna pureed with Sriracha sauce and pepper jack cheese melted on top

chicken pureed with BBQ Sauce with cheddar cheese melted on top

lemon dill salmon pureed with tartar sauce

shrimp pureed with remoulade and pecorino cheese melted on top

turkey pureed with peanut satay sauce and jack cheese melted on top

chicken pureed with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese melted on top

turkey pureed with light chipotle mayo and sugar free pickle relish and Laughing Cow chipotle fresco cheese wedge melted on top

teriyaki salmon pureed with teriyaki sauce (I don't recommend cheese with this but if I had to, I might try some blue cheese)

Good luck!

you might also want to check out the dedicated thread for pureed recipes, which you can find pinned here:

You might also give the search box in the upper right a whirl -- try searching for stuff like pureed recipes, pureed ideas, or pureed suggestions. This is a pretty frequent topic!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
