Recommended Posts

I want a full Tummy Tuck. I'm assuming with muscle repair because I've had two kids. Leaving boobs alone for now. What did you pay for tt anyone?

I have my TT/lipo scheduled for June 4th and the total cost came to $10,320. I tried for the last two years to put through insurance but no luck.

I want to get a mommy makeover but I'm not sure how much it cost. The surgeons I called said I had to pay for a consultation before they could give me exact price, but it can range from $8500-18,000. Tummy Tuck alone is $7500.

After getting two quotes. One for $10,015 done as an outpatient. The other for $9,118. done in a hospital and staying overnight. I choose to go with the overnight in a hospital. I like both doctors but I like the lower price and will feel safer having it done in a hospital. I'm getting mine June 5 and can't wait. Will do some pictures when I can.

I am going to have to get a Tummy Tuck revision since I put on so much weight since my first one. The first one did not remove all of the stretch marks from my pregnancy but hopefully the revision will!

Actually, if the boobs deflate like I think they will as i shed these pounds, Im just going to opt for the Mommy Makeover.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
