day 4 - anyone used isagenix?

Recommended Posts

I am at day 4 from my surgery. I feel really good. Emotional - but not physical hunger. am struggling with 62 oz of Water I am supposed to be drinking a day - but, more importantly I am really struggling with how to consume 64 grams of Protein on a Fluid diet.

I have a lot of (failed) diet food around [can you say Pork rinds alla Atkins, frozen dinners alla Jenny Craig etc... None of those will of course work for me in this stage.

Has anybody tried Isagenix? I still have a couple of tubs of those around. I was a failure in the isogenix diet a few months ago- before I decided to have the lap band but found it tasted pretty good.

How are you getting in enough Protein given the limited amount of food that we can eat at this point

I was not required to consume that much Protein after surgery. It was always a goal but not post op. It's a time to heal and forcing food or liquids was never my protocol. Maybe you should re-visit your doc orders and see if it says to "try" to get 64 grams of Protein?

You won't die or get fat if you can't get 64 grams of protein in. Very few can. Just staying hydrated and not hungry is about all most post op patients can hope for.

Hi Enuf,

I've been using Isagenix (President's Pak) for 8 weeks now and have lost 53.5cm so far. You mentioned you had some Isagenix shakes at home - are they the IsaLean shakes or the IsaLean Pro? The IsaLean Pro have 36g of Protein per shake, so if you have just 2 of these a day you will get your daily Protein intake requirement. The full nutritional breakdown and ingredient list is here for you to check out: chocolate.ashx" rel="external nofollow">http://www.isagenix.com/~/media/product/isalean-pro/isalean-pro-fact-panels/au-en-fact-panel-isalean-pro-natural-chocolate.ashx

Good luck!

But to get that n a day go to GNC or Walmart has them now too actually, an get the 3oz. tubes of liquid protien, they have about 42grams of protien per 3oz bottle...its an awsome way to get the protien in you fast:) ope this helps:)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
