Okay post 2 days revision I weigh in at 246 I will keep u posted on my journey. My throat is very sore and I was only able to consume about 2 ounce of liquids today it feels sort of strange when it hit my stomach it's cramps a little and it stops. Will this get better? And was anyone sent home with a plastic bag that is draining Fluid time one week post surgery?

I get the weird cramping as well. Kind of like a big bubble that forms in my stomach every time I swallow something a little too much.

I personally didn't have a drain, but it is very common to have one after surgery. Best of luck!

. Hello kb88 today I am 2 weeks post surgery and I am 10 pounds down feeling better the bag was taken out on the March 18 and the removing of the bag hurt really bad. I have to remember to chew my food very fine. I was surprise that my stomach only can hold 3oz of egg white. This week I will head to the gym but I realize that I have to pace myself. I have one problem and that is consuming 64 oz of Water I am not even at 16 yet is that bad?

Trust me going from the band to the sleeve was the best thing I ever did, so far I have not had any complication at all from the surgery just a sore throat. I am 12 days post op. Just relax and follow the instruction of your doctor. I must say drinking 64 oz of liquid will be hard I still have problems with that getting down 8-16 oz. I am down 10 pounds and the doctor took me off my blood pressure medication (GREAT). Stay focus and u will be fine. Keep me posted on your journey in April did they give you the exact date yet? Best of luck and u will do well.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
