How did you come up with your User Name?

Recommended Posts

There are so many interesting ones.... how did you come up with your user name? What does it mean to you?

Mine is a nickname my mom used to call me when I was a little girl. Then my girlfriends called me that in college and now my (step)grandchildren call me that because I REFUSE to be called "Grandma"!!! Maybe when I have my own grandchildren I'll have them call me Granny-Doodle! I like that. :biggrin1:

It’s from the Little Mermaid which was my favorite movie when I was little. My love for the movie may have faded over the years but I love the name all the same.

Most everyone calls me Kat---short for Kathy---and 817---I was born on August 17th! DH actually calls me Kitty half the time, because they used to jokingly call me KittyKat....but KittyKat--seems almost pornographic on line!!!! LOL

Kat

I live in Nebraska and my husband is on a different forum under Mr Husker. Wish I could think of something better because I don't even like football.

Mine is my Craft name.

I am an aromatherapist, soap & body products maker and herbalist (see link in siggy) so I have chosen Demeter as my guardian goddess. I've shortened it to Demme and added Moon since I am a July birthday and a true child of the moon.

It was easy to come up with mine. ( Crazycat )

I have a black and white cat that makes me laugh all the time. If he were to have been born a person in another life , he would have been a comic.

:)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
