Sleeved 8/24-

Anyone else sleeved around the same time?

If so- how many calories are you eating daily?

I'm trying to stick to 1000 but find that I go over almost on a daily basis...

I was sleeved 8/5/13 and I am under 900 a day still. I am keeping that low because my loss is slow, although today in fact is my 6 month f/u so maybe they will change me. I really am trying to watch my carbs, I have been trying to keep them under 50 and I think if I could get them lower I would lose faster but I also want to be able to have a diet that is sustainable the rest of my life too!!

sleeved 1 month after you on 09/24, im down over 60 lbs, no exercise, all diet. I eat way less than 1000 calories because im never hungry. i usually do 2 eggs in the morn, Water, 1/2 chicken breast for lunch, more Water, 2 more eggs for dinner, more water, a small snack b4 bed. 4 eggs = 320 cal 1/2 chk breast = 250 approx. im usually around 600-750 cal per day and its working. starvation mode or not, i dont really care because im dropping weight and im just gonna keep doing what works.

I was sleeved 9/12, so a little after you. But to answer your question, I track everything on MFP and average about 500/day. I still feel a lot of restriction, particularly with trying to get all my Water in.

I was sleeved on Aug. 23 and I've been eating between 800-1200 calories a day. I use Myfitness Pal and track my activity on a Fitbit. Over the past 2 weeks, I've noticed my weight loss plateaued (which it did over the holidays too). I can tolerate more foods and I could eat 1200-1500 calories a day. My team told me to expect my weight loss to slow down after 6 months so I can see that I'm probably approaching the end of that honeymoon period when the pounds are just dropping off.

How is everyone's nutruition? One of my friends has been low on Protein. I had my nutrition evaluation last month and everything was fine, so I was happy that I was eating well and on track with my weight and my supplements.

My weight loss has slowed down as well!!!

I've lost 87 pounds total (including pre-op weight loss), and now it feels like I'm really struggling/fighting for every single little ounce I loose...and at some points- gain;

I have been adding more carbs to my diet though so I'm wondering if that's it? I meet all my Protein but find myself a little more hungry nowadays- I try to stick to 1,000 calories but I'm wondering if I need to increase that; most days I do between 1,100-1,200 but I was wondering of that was normal or too much...

Everyone is so different I see-

Just have to figure out how to continue promoting my weight loss because it definitely is getting harder-

Thank you all for your help!

7.29.13 and I use mfp to track. I get a 900 calorie average and try to keep carbs below 50 grams. I will say this week (that special week) I've gone up to 1200 cals twice and carbs are at like 80.

I noticed the same thing with carbs, that if I switched 2 eggs for 1 egg and a nutrigrain waffle, added a few extra whole grain crackers with my cheese or tuna, or ate some additional potatoes over the holiday, that seems to lead to a plateau for a few weeks. I probably need to call our dieticians and find out how much I should be eating. I have to say that even 1200 calories is not very much. My PCP is concerned about how little I'm eating but she said that as long as my nutrition scores are good, she does not want to interfere with the directions I'm getting from my surgeon's team.

Try to add extra calories and carbs on workout days only. 900 on non workout days and then 1500 on workout day, this should ramp up your workouts, your metabolism, and your results.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
