Recovery Time?

I was banded 12/18/2013. I still have pain at the port area when I bend slightly. Just brushing my teeth can spark pain. All incisions seem to be fine.

If anyone remembers, how long did it take for you to have no more pain at the port area?

The port site always takes the longest to heal. I had port pain for quite some time after surgery. I couldn't sleep on my stomach for over 6 weeks. It'll get better, just hang in there!

One day I noticed it wasn't sensitive anymore, wasn't yowling if I bent over, etc. Good luck to you!

That's GREAT! I think he's pretty smart coming up with that!!

You can also go to how long does it take to recover or feel normal again and look at some post it might help.

Well best wishes, sometimes it takes awhile to get the discomfort to pass. I made the mistake once, to balance a box on my stomach, as fat people do, OMG did it hurt, and made sure never to do that again. best wishes, Karen..aka.kll724
