You'll definitely need clothes before all the weight is gone. :)

The Week 3 stall is legendary. Just stick with the program and it will pass.

You will need clothes during your weight loss or you will look like a clean but homeless person. Many shop at thrift or consignment stores or hit the sales for low price, interim options.

I stalled at 2 weeks out for about 10 days. Same deal, my body changed a lot during that time. Same deal with my latest stall of 5 weeks starting at 2.5mos post op. Hang in there!

7 weeks out and only lost 1 lb. in 2 weeks.28 all together.

That is an average of 4 pounds per week. Sounds pretty awesome! Keep it in perspective - you're doing pretty good. There'll be slow times, stalls, and then suddenly... a big drop or a slow, steady downward trend. Follow your program as close as possible and it'll continue. One day soon you'll be where you want to be. Enjoy the journey! :-)

I didn't want to shop for clothes, either, but it was inevitable for me...couldn't wear size 22/24 on a size 12 body...my pants would fall off. I just wear a lot of leggings and stuff that will fit over a long time..it's freezing here in Wisconsin, so I wear a lot of fleece...not sexy, but warm. Lol. In spring I'll have to shop for summer clothes...it gets expensive.

Go to local thrift stores for clothes. They are cheap and sometimes you get really lucky. I got a jacket that is reversible for about $5.

It does get expensive. After Christmas there will be lots of clearance sales as stores start bringing in spring clothes. Sometimes the clearance prices are as cheap as or cheaper than thrift stores. :-)

That's my plan. I need pants badly. My size 14s can be pulled off without unbuttoning. Lol. I told my hubby my plan is to buy 3 pairs after the holidays when sales are good.

At our local goodwill they have 50% off a certain color tag each week that the clothes are marked with. I am glad I bought lots of sizes ahead of time while they were 50% off! Most of them are to big now, but they sure helped while I was loosing.

So, a long stall is normal? I'm almost two months out and feel like I haven't lost anything this whole month. I may have even gained a pound or two. I feel like I'm doing everything wrong. I am eating but not to much, but I can't stomach Protein shakes so I'm lacking there and have been so busy with work and the holidays that I haven't exercised. Maybe I'm failing at this.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
