I have not been sleeved yet, waiting on my surgery date. For those who have lost weight over six months or more, I would like to know have you notice your face sagging from the large amount of weight loss. I worry about my face looking old after weight loss. Please share your stories on this to help me.

I just had my surgery 11 days ago but I have lost 51 pounds since july 10th. So far no face sag. I am worried about looking older too. So far I don't. I am more worried about having major elephant body and rear wrinkles and sags but Ihave about 95 more pounds to go s o I am not sure what will happen in the future. Hopefully exercise will keep the elephant wrinkles away.

My face was the first obvious place i was losing weight from. I am down about 70 now and no sagging just not so round and no jowels now. It will be fine and your face will better and better every day

I had about two months that my faced looked to me to be sagging a bit, Throughout I kept moisturizing and using a facial scrub to do what I could. The last month or so, it does not appear to be as bad. It looks healthier. I think it just took some time to catch up.

Thanks for all the feedback. I work around really negative people and they are always talking about people and especially if they have lost a lot of weight. I don't plan on telling them about my weight lost surgery, but I sure don't want to start looking old and give them any reasons to have something to say. Thanks

You can see before and after pictures of my face in my photo gallery area. I think I have some after pictures of my belly there too -- my belly is really the only wrinkly place I have, and you need to keep in mind that I gave birth to four kids, so it stood up to a lot of abuse. :)

I don't have any in my face, but I do have some in other areas (inner thighs, lower tummy, and upper arms to be specific). But clothes and spanks hide those pretty well.
That being said, don't let that be a deterrent. I'd rather have skin that sags a bit and be healthy!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
