I wonder if I'm the only one who is freezing to death and butt absolutely kills them sitting now? Good problems to have I suppose. I'm pretty much thinking about just staying in my car and keeping the seat heater on from now on! J/k but seriously ...I'm so happy for this new lease on life...just wish sitting down didn't hurt!

My butt literally hurts almost all the time. What makes me most nervous is the I still have about 50lbs to lose, but I can easily feel my lower spine and butt bones protruding now, if I lose anymore weight from my arse I may need to find padded butt undies or something. The pain is intense.

As for the freezing part…oh my. I have a heated blanket on my bed that I normally sleep with on high at night, a heated blanket for my spot on the couch, a space heater, my heat set to 70 in the house (last year.58), and when in my car the heated seat and steering wheel are always on, and the heat is blasting out. It is a different type of cold, like to the bone, and hard to alleviate. I wish I drank coffee to help me warm up, and since surgery I hate tea.

The butt pain will pass. I am 19 months out and around 152 lbs. It was bad for a while- but I guess it toughened up. ;)

I'm right at 9lbs left to goal. It's crazy how much things have changed. Even my husband said my nickname of," Big booty Judy" doesn't fit anymore. Butt pain..I sure hopes gets better.

My husband says he misses my butt. I still have times where I sit and can feel my tailbone. I think you just learn to adjust.

I feel the bones in my but, too. Thin people don't have trouble so it makes sense that it'll toughen up (I hope!).

I'm colder when I'm outside. The inside temp of my house is usually around 73° so that's no problem - we have a wood stove. If I get too warm I go in the kitchen or open a window. :-)

Does anyone else find that they it lower in the seat in their car? I'm only 5' tall (my doc says 4"11'). Most of my butt is now gone and I sit a lot lower in my Jeep. Visibility is a little less. I think I need a booster seat! Lol

Yup, can't sit still for having to readjust every couple of minutes. Freezing all.the.time but I live in Utah and it's winter, about 35 out right now. I found some fleece lined leggings and bought a pair in every color. I live in them!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
