Hello everyone....

I guess I'm amazed at what I've read thus far on this site. It truly has been a great source of information and inspiring news. I want to thank everyone here for the postings, both good and bad. They are, at times, challenging, yet constructive towards my journey of better health. I've been through tests and preparation work, but yet to receive a clearing from my insurance company or a date or surgery. Keep your fingers crossed!

I'm amazed by the many people I talk to about weight and food issues. After attending pre-support meetings I know that I'm just like everyone else sitting in the room. We have so much in common. And, in reading this forum, I see many folks....just like me. We will all use this "tool" to help us achieve our goal to better existence. I'm having my surgery in St. Louis, MO. Anyone else have/having surgery here? Curious....

I'm hoping to know that everything is cleared within a couple weeks. Hopefully sooner than later. Thanks for the welcoming thoughts. You're right, there is a ton of information on this site. Very comfy place to visit.
