Not Feeling to good

Recommended Posts

Yesterday we put our 15 year old jack Russell to sleep, she was in a lot of pain. Today I woke up feeling dizzy and light headed and it still hasn't went away. Should I be worried or you think it's cause I m so sadden from my loss?

Check your hydration. I know the pain of losing a pet...I'm so sorry.

Deademama and Vicki thanks a lot !! It's the worst feeling ever.

I lost my boxer suddenly in 2010; he went in about 6 hours....what a shock. They are definitely part of the family. I'm happy to say we have another boxer, Jed, and he's wonderful. He's a therapy dog and runs agility, just a great dog. Having said that, there are times I still miss Otto....it's just so sad. Again, I'm sorry for your loss.

I am sorry for your loss. My shih Tzu woke up one morning in 09 paralyzed on her right side. By the time my mom got her to the vet she could not walk. I was 4 hours away at school and my poor hubby was scared to tell me. Thankfully the shih Tzu rescue that we foster for helped us out and paid for the surgery to get her all fixed up. She had a slipped disk in her neck. We will not have any kids so Molly is our little princess.

In my family we always try to get a new animal fairly quickly. The new ones always seem to know how to make us smile. It has always help me get through my grief.

Make sure you are drinking plenty of Water and getting your Protein in.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
