I am not thinking clearly and so discussed that I am thinking of canceling my surgery on the 19th. Today was a horrible day. From the morning till I made it home tonight. Started with a flat tire, :-( got that fixed, then on the way to my daughter school the car ran hot :-( . Things calm down go pick up a cake and dinner and balloons for my parents anniversary:-). Get to parents house and my mom is crying tears of joy but she thinks its a bad thing. ( she has dementia) Talk to her get that under control fine. :-)Get call from my sister my she is at the hospital with my nephew he has stepped on a nail and had a seizure:-(. Go to hospital make sure things are ok. He is doing great now ♥♡:-). All to get home to find out my house was broken into trashed tagged the whole nine yards. :-(:-(:-(:-(:-( Call the police and go through all of that. Daughter is crying her things are stolen my things are stolen. So now we are completely starting over. Who does things like this. I worked hard for what we have and it hurts for someone to take it.

So sorry to hear about what sounds like a horrible day. Just know that things will get better. I can understand how you're feeling and contemplating cancel surgery however take a moment to think about why you've gone thru this process and why you want this surgery. Don't let this day take away what you've worked for and wanted. This is just one day out of many. Don't let the person or persons who took you're belongings take away why you've wanted this surgery too. I wish you the best of luck and prayer for you and your family's safety. I hope things get better.

You certainly did have a horrible day !!! But look on the bright side, tomorrow will be a new day, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and move forward and don't look back. Maybe look at ways to make your house more secure. Things can only go up from this point, you hit rock bottom already. Chin up :)

I had same thoughts before my surgery, my husband had 3 heart attacks 1st on july 4 then , major one on july 5th, another on july 6th he was in ICU when last attack occured if that weren't enough he has kidney disease, so I thought to myself I will still get my surgery on july 22nd because its for me &my future its best tjing I ever done w/no regrets & husband is recovering along w/myself. So please don't let set backs change your having this surgery. .

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
