Day 1 of the Liquid Diet

I went Friday to see the surgeon. I had a little slip with my weight. I gained. So he wanted me to start the liquid diet right away instead of Tuesday. But started today. My family wanted to take me out to dinner last night and honestly I needed a day to prepare my head for it.

Friday I have my pre-admission testing. And then surgery on the 6th. I am so focused on the liquid diet so I don't think the fact the 6th is right around the corner has sunken in. :D

I was on 14 days of Optifast but could also have lettuce, cucumbers, celery, sf Jello and sf Popsicles. A lot of ppl say the preop diet is the hardest part. It certainly has not been fun! Some ppl have to do 30 days. I don't know if I could have done that.

I did liquid 2 days I kept thinking I wanna be skinny. It was hard but I never cheated

Wow, your still losing after a yr out? good for you...you only did 2 days liq diet and what was the 30 day pre op diet? congrats on your awesome wt loss...!
