Fluid on abdomen. 3 days post op

Hey All! I am three days post op and not feeling well at all. I have had a rough time with recovery. The day after my surgery everyone noticed how large my abdomen was getting. I looked 9mo pregnant. My nurse called my suregon and he did come see me. He advised me it was a shift in fluids. So apparently the iv fluids and fluids I was taking in were all collecting in my abdomen. He said it was nothing to be concerned about and it will go away over time. Its just so painful, my insides are already sore from surgery add a tummy full of liquid and it makes it much worse. Anyone ever had this problem??
