Hi im new. :-)

Hi there!

Since I'm new to this site I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Dawn and I am from Ontario, Canada. I am 7 years post op Rny.

I am a teacher and weight loss surgery support group leader. My first year past surgery can be found at diminishingdawn.com

If I can answer any questions or help anyone feel free to drop me a line.

This surgery will be the best thing you will do for you. That said, after a few years it gets to be much harder. The good habits you put in place in your first year or two will make or break your success! Work your surgery hard!

Take care!

Dawn

Happy to hear from u!!! Welcome! That is my biggest fear will I be able to keep the weight off after the first year. I feel like I eat too much now, but I don't eat anywhere near what I ate pre-op, it's just nerves! I want to be successful so bad! The changes my body is making is shocking and awesome and I don't want to loose this "honeymoon" feeling.

Thank u for joining us!!! (HUGS)
