June surgeries!

Hey all! I looked around and couldn't find anything for June surgeries. I don't have my exact date yet, but it will be the 1st or 2nd week of June!! Sooo excited!! I had my lap band out on April 18th and they were supposed to do the bypass, but they weren't able to due to scar tissue. I saw my surgeon today and all should be a go for June! Yay!!!! RNY here I come!!!

Guys please keep up the prayers. I woke up so sick still and one of the PAs I work with said my tonsils will probably be too swollen for them to get a tube down my throat tomorrow. I'm feeling so defeated. If they have to cancel, this will be the second time. I just want to lay in bed and cry.

I am sitting in the hospital with my beautiful gown and fabulous socks in place. Still not feeling crazy nervous, but would love to get my drugs started. :)

I am so sorry. It will happen. Just hold on!

Congratulations to everyone who had surgery yesterday and good luck to everyone who has surgery today and the rest of the week. I'll keep everyone in my prayers.

If you're that sick it'll be better if they have to push it back. You don't want to add any complications to your recovery. Maybe the PA should write you an Rx for a zpak or something. Get better soon sweets!!!

I understand how u probably feel. I know u know things work out exactly the way they should and we have no control over that. But at the same time I know u really want this and u want it now. The great thing is, either way - whether u have ur surgery tomorrow or next week - it will happen. Look at it this way, it's been how many years of being overweight and not completely happy? So what is one or two more weeks? U will get there, don't stress too much. Praying for u surgery buddy!!!

Well I have less then 18 hrs until I have to be at the hospital and guess who decides to show up. Apparently aunt flo didn't get them memo that I'm having surgery tomorrow. Ugh. This isn't going to be pleasant.

IV is in, waiting......not nervous, just ready for the doc!
