June surgeries!

Hey all! I looked around and couldn't find anything for June surgeries. I don't have my exact date yet, but it will be the 1st or 2nd week of June!! Sooo excited!! I had my lap band out on April 18th and they were supposed to do the bypass, but they weren't able to due to scar tissue. I saw my surgeon today and all should be a go for June! Yay!!!! RNY here I come!!!

My prayers and God's blessing be with you!

My surgery date is June 26!!!!! I'm scared!! But confident and I can't wait to begin the recovery journey. I've lost 20 lb since January...hopefully that helped the proverbial 'fatty liver' syndrome.

Best wishes to all the other Junies!

So I'm starting to freak out a bit. Lol I'm thinking that I only have 2 days left to get in yummy food and drinks that I won't be able to have for a while. Pizza Hut for dinner tonight! Haha

WBW, u didn't have to do a pre-op diet either? My doctor just told me to "eat light" three days before. So I'm trying to stay as close to a liquid diet as I can. We had Pizza Hut last night actually and I did eat half a pizza roll from my husband's plate of leftovers today. I also got some watermelon so I could chew something. outside of that its been broth and an Isopure juice-type protein drink. I figured this is all pretty light.

Nope... I asked a million times and she didn't even say to eat lightly. Just no food or drink after midnight the night before surgery. It's FABULOUS. Lol I have to admit that I've been being a little greedy and eating like a cow. Haha I bought a tub of Breyers vanilla Oreo ice cream today and intend to kill it off before Tuesday night. :/
