  1. Hey everybody, I finally found the new app... Well, I'll give you all an update, I got down to 129, I'm now 163, don't get me wrong, I look good, I'm in a size 8, but still, I've been at this weight for a while, I need to lose at least 20lbs, I know what it takes but I'm lazy, I've relocated last summer from Chicago to Houston, my husband and I are separated, it's a lot going on in my life which I'm not proud of, I hope everyone is doing well, Peace
  2. Good morning all, I'm home now, surgery went well, I'm very sore and full of gas...lol thanks everybody for well wishes.
  3. Good morning all, I hope everyone is doing great. Well today I go in for another surgery, I'm having my gallbladder removed, after many test, they found that I have as they say "lots of pulps" on my gallbladder....damn, I'm really nervous. Has anyone else had to have this procedure done after surgery?
  4. Good morning all, I just read through your post, good to see everyone doing great. Well although this surgery bought me great success for my health and appearance, it also bought me a divorce. I never thought this would happen to me, although I read the negative side. Well my life has changed and changed dramatically, I haven't worked since December 2013 as my husband agreed I can go to cosmetology school to obtain my life long dream of becoming a stylist, in the middle of school, he decided not to support me anymore, because I wouldn't allow him to bully and control me, I guess I gained a lil confidence, don't get me wrong, the only thing that has changed about me is my weight, my husband became jealous of the attention I was receiving, it was unbelievable, so now here we are, getting a divorce, me quitting school, he left me in debt up to my ears, and now I'm relocating from Chicago to Houston, but hey, I'm a fighter, I've come to far to break down or become weak. I thank God for strength...
  5. Folks said the same thing about me, I'm 5'3 and I started out weighing 236 lbs...but I to had a lot of illness due to my weight, Gastric Bypass was the best decision I've made. So just think about your health and not what others say.

  12. I scared as well, you will be fine, just pray, turn it over to God, as long as you trust and believe His plans for your life, you will be good. And remember, everybody's journey is different, and take one day at a time, enjoy watching the weight lost.
  13. My doc took me of a few months ago...I feel great. Keep up the good work.
  14. What I learned about non-family support, it's one of two things, one the maybe scared for you and don't know how to relate it to you, or the May become jealous of your transformation. My husband didn't support me at first, when he start seeing my change and how happy I was becoming, he final was honest, that he was fearful. Your family need to be educated about the surgery, then they may have a change of heart, but if not, cling to the people that support you whole heartedly because you will need it, this transformation is also a mental change. Good luck.
  15. Remember, walking will help a whole lot, congratulations and welcome to the Loser's side.
