June surgeries!

Hey all! I looked around and couldn't find anything for June surgeries. I don't have my exact date yet, but it will be the 1st or 2nd week of June!! Sooo excited!! I had my lap band out on April 18th and they were supposed to do the bypass, but they weren't able to due to scar tissue. I saw my surgeon today and all should be a go for June! Yay!!!! RNY here I come!!!

I am having the same type experience. I think we think about the pain so long that we have it as a huge beast in our minds. I am getting ready to start my "breakfast" of 1 ounce cups of water and protein.

wish me Luck and no nausea!

Good luck and lots of prayers for everyone today!!

Just checked in to the hospital!

Still sitting in pre-op. My surgeon must have gotten stuck in her first surgery. Soooooo sleepy and ready to get this done.

So as of today I have been on a liver shrink diet since May 20. I was only suppose to be on it two weeks but when they switched my surgery, surgeon, and date I have to do it even longer. This week I found out I lost 10lbs and I did really well but the last two days for whatever reason I've blown my diet way out. Both days I've wen over about 500 calories... I've got to get back on track and keep losing this weight. Meeting my surgeon tomorrow. Two more weeks of this diet. Craving more then chicken and shakes.

Laying in my room feeling pretty good. I'm sure the morphine helps but I'm surprised I'm not in much pain. Took two laps down the halls. Im shocked. I was so nervous this morning but I seem to be ok.

Just got the call from the hospital. Surgery at 10:00am have to be there at 7:00am. I can't believe it's tomorrow!!!

Hope everything has gone smoothly for everyone today! I'll be there on the losers bench with you tomorrow!!! :)

Good luck to everyone today! Praying for fast recoveries for everyone!!
