  1. I use something called Nu-stevia. It's just like Truvia. It's more white powder consistency than granulated. I like it better than the Truvia. No clumps, no weird after taste. I hate artificial Sweeteners, this is the only one I can stand!
  2. Canned meats and beans. Cheeses. Steamed frozen veggies or canned veggies. Frozen fish filets. Ground turkey and chicken. Frozen seasoned chicken strips are good too!
  3. Are you on any narcotic pain meds? They can cause rebound headaches
  4. A lot of people get a Dilaudid pain pump. If your pain isn't controlled make sure you let your nurses know. They are there for that. I also had a "medicine ball" which was a catheter of lidocaine placed underneath the top layer of my skin in my stomach and I carried the bottle around. There are many ways to manage your pain along with the narcotics. Try not to worry too much about that part. Good luck!
  5. Can I get a recipe on that? I think you've mentioned it before and it sounds fantastic!!!
  6. I've been Doig ok this week and decided to try salad. I used baby spinach per someone's recommendation on here. Very soft, went down well. I've added tomatoes, olives, artichokes, cheese and FF ranch ( not all at once) seem to be doing on with this! now I'm Gona try to add I. So e chicken or tuna.
  7. So far I've had an ok week. (I hope I don't regret saying that!) I'm looking forward to starting my new job in pediatric orthopedics on Monday and moving in the next week or two. Hope things keep moving forward. Both Bari doc and uro said to wait everything out, they think I'm on the up and up! Needing some prayers just in case!
  8. Ok so in 4 days I will be 4 months out. I'm 66lbs down. Went from 211 to 145. I have been having kidney stones and colic so they told me to switch from whey protein. Not easy. I wasn't good about shakes before. Lately I've been eating a lot of steamed edamame which are high in soy protein so that's nice. I've had 3 esophageal dilations for a stricture and I finally meet with my urologist today. Wish me luck! Kidney stones are a you-know-what!
  9. Yeah, I just re-read all the posts, you guys are talking about Toradol. It's only given in IV or thru an injection. It's a wonderful drug. I had to have it with Dilaudid for kidney stones. Docs said it was ok because it wAs bypassing stomach.
  10. Are you guys thinking of toradol maybe? It's an anti-inflammatory, Tylenol is not.
  11. I can tell a difference. It's a bad angle for us to answer that question tho!!! Doesn't show much!
  12. Homemade chicken and dumplings....never made dumplings from scratch before! So easy! Been craving this even tho its a hundred degrees out. My son and I have a bad case of the snuffles!
  13. Bought my first pair of cute jean shorts since probably 10th grade....and I'm not afraid to wear them!!!
  14. I weigh the same as I did on my wedding day! People are finally noticing my weight loss and it feels great! I beginning to be able to eat a little more normally! Yay! How do you put in a before and after pic?
  15. Italian 6-cheese stuffed meatloaf, caprese tomatoes and cheese, steam broccoli and stuffing! Only had 1 bite of the meatloaf and a couple bites of caprese tomatoes with cheese. Yummy! So happy to have turned a corner!!
