I would love to see what people are doing for this. I am 3 weeks out and my urine has been yellow ever since. I try but it's hard. :(

This is something I struggle with daily. I'm supposed to get in 64oz a day and I usually get 2 or 3 bottles in.

I just got off the phone with my nurse. I am indeed dehydrated. 12 days out. She suggested ice chips and sugar free pop cycles. I have periods when I don't want anything. But I am light headed and weak. Seeing doctor in the a.m. I just had a pop cycle and some smart Water.< /p>

I'm 18 days out today and just now starting to get the hang of it. I can now drink quite a bit in an hour. Before it was impossible...so just suck popcicles and ice chips and wait until it gets better.

I've eaten 6 sugar free pops in a day before. I finally started making my own out of my crystal light stuff cuz the pops were freaking me out. Too much dye. Too much sweetener.

I usually get my 64 oz in with no problem a day. I'm post 28 days and I've noticed the more and more I drink Water the easier it is to get it down. I went from sipping to now being able to take one normal drink.

Aw soon as I wake up I warm up Water and add a lemon crystal lite to it... Warm/hot water is easier to get down faster.

Then I take a water bottle on my 1 hour walk and I make sure the bottles drunk before I make it back home.

If I watch a movie... I drink a bottle...

I drink another bottle warmed up before bed too.

Really you only need to drink 4 of the 16.9 oz bottles a day. If you add water to your shakes...

You can even try freezing some crystal lite water and then throwing it in a blender... That's easy to get down fast too.

Trader joes has a already made drink called pure Protein that has 35 grams of protein and is only 170 calories. Maybe try this shake. Since its sold in individual cans you can always just purchase one to sample and see if you like the taste.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
