Since my surgery May 1st I am no longer taking BP medications (those were discontinued within the first month of surgery), I am currently weaning off my heartburn meds and I no longer use my CPAP! I can't believe how great I feel. I get easily frustrated since I've been at the same weight for some time now but I look at these NSVs and it helps keep things in perspective!

I'm the same way..... I've lost 90 pounds but sit between 185 and 188 for a while now. But I can tell how much the weight loss helps because today I walked 8 miles without my knees and ankles hurting. Also went on a plane and the seat wasn't uncomfortable and the seat belt fit. All little NSVs but I'll take them

My ID was refused. I had to bring up my Facebook profile on my phone to prove that the name and address matched my driver's license.

this made me smile so hard! i can just imagine the person being like, no maam, this is not you...you can't fool me! i would have been so tickled!

Oh well I have to head to get some new bras. My 36 band no longer fits and my boobs fall out the bottom too often. And as my husband says in a pouty face, "there is too much room in the cup area too". It is hard to laugh when he is pouting, but at least I did not spit out my coffee this time.

So excited! I am wearing size 18 pants! NOT even 18W pants, just plain old 18s! Except that I have always been top heavy and generally one size bigger on top, my next shopping trip will be to the MISSES section, instead of plus!

I have to say that regular size clothes fit my shape so much better. I have fairly skinny muscular legs and plus size pants tended to give me to much space in the butt and thighs. The jeans I am wearing today fit, excpet they are too long and I am walking on the hems. There was a time in my life when I thought I had average length legs. I was very wrong! I keep walking on my hems!

we need more nsvs yall!

my fellow gamers will appreciate this...i made my first average sized avatar in a video game...never had that before!

btw, rory mcilroy for xbox one has been great fun.

On Sunday I had plans to mow/weed eat the lawn (which I have been paying someone to do the last few years) and then my sister called and wanted to go for a walk. I went for a 3 mile walk AND worked in the yard for almost 2 hours and didn't die! Seriously just the lawn used to sideline me for a couple of days. Amazing how much more I can do now at 135 pounds down. Also went to a Dr yesterday whom I haven't seen in about a year and a half and had no idea I had the surgery. She was amazed and so encouraging! And PS it just never gets old when a Dr office hands me the smaller robe instead of the largest they have and even then it didn't fit right!
