I am new. This is my first post. I had lapband four years ago and I had problems. Little or no weight loss but not due to not following doctor's orders. I had chronic reflux even on two bites of soft food. So, about 3 weeks ago, I had the band removed and gastric bypass. My stitches are healed and I'm trying to get my energy back. I'm just starting pureed foods. I've been through this process before and it is actually easier this time around.
But, I've heard about dumping and I'm really not wanting to experience this...ever! The internet sites (WebMD and MayoClinic) both describe something really horrible to experience with no suggestions for what you can do! Now, I'm afraid for what I may eat by accident as I surely will stay away from sugar! Any advice is appeciated!
