I teach kindergarten too! I went back a week and half after surgery. I am still in pain, sometimes it gets really bad in one spot. I am starting to think something is wrong inside there!

Yay for kinder!! I'm having a rough night. Not sure if its because I wore myself out or what, but I had been really constipated and now diarrhea for the past 3 hours with lots of cramping and some nausea. I'm never going to be able to get all my Protein in today!

I haven't gotten sick at all yet. I can gulp Water and eat a half a cup of Soup in about 2 minutes. No foamies, no nausea, nothing. Has me a bit worried.

Well I'm down 9 lbs from surgery on the 8th for a total of 30 lbs today!! I can't believe I've lost that much already but I sure can tell. My stomach seems to be smaller which is awesome.

I'm having trouble eating though. Everyday I'm throwing up at some point. I guess it's just a learning process as to how I'm eating and what I'm eating. It's just so discouraging sometimes. I almost cried today but held back. Anyways I'm just taking it day by day. Everyday seems to get a little easier.

I went back to work today. SO TIRED.

Anyone ever have their pouch sore? Just like to the touch? I think maybe I inflamed it.

They gave me regular tea in the hospital it was good so when I came home I got some my tummy really likes it

I was on a bariatric floor at a large hospital and they brought me regular black coffee for Breakfast and regular tea for lunch. I refused it. They also told me "if they bring you a real meal, refuse it". This is a BARIATRIC FLOOR.

I agree!! While i was in the hospital my cousins wife who has recently lost 100lbs put on Facebook that she is so proud of herself for losing so much weight on her own and not taking the easy way out.....first off she is bulimic and lives off diet pills and laxatives and thinks no one knows but many in my family do except her dad sister and obviously husband ....immediately family members said how rude it was and she tried to say it had nothing to do with me but we all know it did she deleted it off fb and thinks im not going to confront her but she is mistaken ....it infuriated me in the hosp 1 day after surgery in the pain i was in to see a post like that on fb let alone from someone who i know did it in the most unhealthy way possible and while she has many people fooled to think she did it on her own

There will be a lot of envious people along the way. Do what you got to do to get healthy and ignore negative people. That person will never be happy. Those diet pills will make you so fat! But she chose her way and now you've chosen yours...lets see who keeps it off longer ;)

I am in the doctors office to get my staples out this morning! I am READY! Hopefully to full liquid diet today too! I am also worn out! It doesn't take much! But according to my nut and the literature' date=' we are on track. Our bodies are making so many adjustments now that we have to just be patient and keep working towards our goal. I am so sorry that so many folks are in pain, hopefully heat or cold will help and the 'binders' should too. Hang in there! Good luck to our surgery folks this week![/quote']

Excited for you!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
