I am not exactly sure what are the signs of lactose intolerant. I have been having so much trouble with my Protein shakes. I posted this in another thread but thought I might get more answers if I posted it in a thread of its own.
I am starting to think I have become lactose intolerant. Even before surgery I always got a tummy ache after I had milk or ice cream or something like that but I love milk and ice cream so I just dealt with it. I guess it wasn't that bad. However now it is much worse. For example yesterday I had one Protein shake and I had stomach cramps for about two hours and I just felt ill. It finally went away and I felt much better. When I think about it I get that way after I eat yogurt as well. It's just not nearly as bad.
Anyone have a clue if that is lactose intolerant or if it's a different problem? Any thoughts?
