Hey! I'm 25 and I just started my journey. I go for my first seminar tomorrow. This is my second time trying this out I began the process last time but with school I decided to weight. Now I'm finished with school and I couldn't be more excited to get this started! I'm hoping to have surgery this summer and could use all the support available.

This is also my second start. I started the process even I was 19 but I was so busy I only did my initial visit and never went back. I have a career and a fiancée, just wanting to be healthy to start a family one day! Decided it is now or never. So thankful I found an age group I can relate to! I'm 23 and my sister had it done 7 years ago but she's 40 now so it's hard to even relate to her. I only have one supportive friend, all my other friends tried to discourage me in my first attempt so I've cut them out of my lives. I'm the only one living in my body and I'm the one that gets the final say. I'm sick of the "oh just eat healthy and exercise" talk all my other friends want to give. Only my best friend, fiancée and family know my attempt this time and I've found out that is even more exciting!!

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
