I am finally motivated again. But I need your help!

Recommended Posts

These past few months I’ve been trying to get motivated to start working out again, yet I’ve been putting it off. Well tonight I’ve decided that I want to lose 80 pounds which will bring me to about 110. My goal weight has been 160, but that’s just not enough anymore. So it’s time for me to get a routine down and get my crap together. And no, this is not a New Years resolution, though it might help lol. So I'm in need of workouts, routines that have worked for you guys and lots of inspirational stories! I'm almost two years out, and I'm ready to get to get where I want to be. I never had a set goal weight until tonight!!

I set my goal for 125 then decided I want to be 110 I'm currently 124 so I'm very near my goal weight but with out trying hard I feel I'm starting to become thin. I feel great but I never been this small so it's shocking everyone that see me. I know when I have plastic surgery I will be thinner all the tummy fat & skin arm skin & w.e. else will be like 10 pounds less. That's for 2014 let's see what happens. I don't want to be a skeleton neither or size 0 but if I become size 0 it's ok as long as I don't look like anorexia.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
