Thanks for sharing guys. :) Its funny to think of it like that but yes' date=' it did feel like labor pains. I only had those two in a row though, and nothing on the right side. Pain was in the center of my stomach and up under my ribcage. Maybe it was unrelated, hoping so. Don't want another surgery.[/quote']

The pain will also go through to your back area on the right too, if I remember correctly. A year before the bypass I was having a lot of issues w mine. Was going to have surgery bit then I changed my eating (less fats) and it stopped. I was lucky.

I'm not telling you to change your eating, lol. I have read a lot about people having their gallbladder removed after this surgery. Almost makes you wonder if it should be taken at the same time, lol, just like Jessie's surgeon does. I hope it was only a one time thing for you. I do know I have gall stones but I haven't had any issues, knock on wood. Mine probably should have been removed during the surgery.

I do the Atkins Protein shakes and Protein Bars. They only have 1-3g of sugar and 1-3g of carbs! It also helps with my sweet tooth!

I dont want to eat anything!!! If i have a shake it makes me start craving carbs especially sweets.

I dont want to take my Vitamins because they make me hungry. I drink Water alot. But i still crave carbs even if i am not eating any type of potato or hardly ever any Pasta of any kind.

It is making me so depressed. Yesterday i had 2 bowls of some good salad. It was good. My brain is playing huge tricks on me. The shakes the Protein bars are all evil!!! Peanut Butter and chocolate Protein Bars. What a gimmick . They arent good for you. I see that now

Janice, I'm sorry your having these cravings. My Nut just had me add in Protein bars. I'm at 130 and don't want to lose anymore. So she suggested trying protein bars. I hadn't touched one before that cuz I was afraid of the calories in them. But now I want to maintain, I have 1 a day.

OMG, I tried regular ice cream and it makes me sick. I don't want to get in a habit of eating ice cream so I am not even going to try sugar free. I only get about 800 calories a day. Maybe a little more now. I've stopped tracking and really need to get back to doing it.

On a personal decision: my chest size has dropped to a C cup :-( I was a DD. I have excess skin and planned on a lift anyways so I'm thinking about implants. There is a great gel style out that feels quite natural. The material inside is Gummy texture similar to gummy bears, lol. I no longer have love handles, unless you count just a little bit of hanging skin. Tummy Tuck will be a definite to remove the excess skin. It bothers me A LOT.

Don't give up Janice. It's just head games and you can beat it.

The more I hear the more it sounds like it could have been something else-no back pain when it occurred either. Perhaps just a little weird, yet very painful heartburn. Good point on the fatty foods, I heard about them being stressors as well. They are very limited in my diet since surgery so not much worry there. :) Glad you were able to avoid surgery. Hope it's not in my future either.

I went from 50 DD to 44 D ism so glad I want to be a C and I will. I do the Atkins shakes and bars but they are still sweet and this was my problem before was sweets and could not control it. If I don't eat anything it's better I don't get hungry till I eat even the smallest thing. I drink Red Diamond sugar free tea and Water alot. I usually for Breakfast drink a chocolate or vanilla Ensure high Protein Drink. I mix it up with the Adkins . I found these veggie straws chips low carb lw calorie really good crunch and taste a little plain but satisfys the crunch and has sea salt on it. Ozzie come live with me for awhile and straighten me out lol.

Lol , Janice. Do you attend a group for people who has had weight loss surgery. That might help. You'd probably freak out on my diet. I focus on Protein only. Once that's done, I add in veggies and fruits for dinner. I don't touch potatoes, rice, bread, Pasta, none of that higher carb stuff, etc.

As you know, I think, I changed goal weight from 125 to 130. Well been there close to a month. Her is the dreaded before pic when I was at my highest weight. (Approximately 270) , plus the much better today's look.

There aren't any groups around here. This is my main group and I am in one on Facebook but this is really the only one I really participate in. I just need to start eating more chicken and steak and fish. I don't do potatoes not even sweet potatoes because of the carb I do eat whole wheat spaghetti and some brown rice on occasion maybe once a month. The bread I eat is 100% whole wheat 45 calories a slice sugar free. But don't eat alot of it maybe twice a week and that's stretching it. I hate cooking so that's my problem. But I do fix good salads and veggie type country foods. I don't fry foods. I eat poached eggs no bacon. I do eat the special k Protein Cereal with lactaid fat free milk. I just wish I dumped more then I do which is rarely. It would help alot if I felt the pain. But at least my scale started moving again down wards again loving that hope to be 200 lbs by the time I go on my cruise in November

I'm a week out from surgery and the healing is much better this time around, but for some reason I thought I needed Soups etc like I was going to have gastric again. My head is messed up. lol. Having all this weight gone makes it so much easier getting up and down. :)

Wondering how many have now considered surgery to remove all the excess skin since weight loss? I've lost total of seventy kilos through lap banding and roux en y bypass, have so much hanging skin, don't want to be a model for Pete's sake, just want to walk and not feel like the tide is coming in, excess upper thigh skin and belly fat flapping In the breeze.... (Yeah, yuk, I know). Surely I'm not alone here?

I am still undecided on skin removal. I know for certain I am doing my breasts. The leg skin does bother me a little but not sure I want to spend the money for it. I was just sad to see my breast just turn to nothing but loose skin! :-(

At this point my breast is my only concern! I don't know if I should wait til I'm at a steady weight, I'm still losing, but not really trying. Not saying I don't need it elsewhere but I def need a lift!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
