Yes! I am 9 weeks and noticed my appetite is coming back. I have my final meeting with my nutritionist next week to get put on the "lifestyle plan" aka no more restrictions on what to eat' date=' just how much, and it kind of makes me nervous. I don't know why because I've been really good with following the diet and it's not like suddenly I'm going to rush right out and eat crap, I just kind of enjoyed that I never felt hungry and now that it's back it kind of weirds me out.[/quote']

Yes!!! Me too!! I've been on the maintenance now for a few weeks and like you, I had to remind myself to eat usually. Now I wake up and I'm hungry! I guess we can look at it as a chance to start new healthy habits, but I'm looking at it as "oh no, what if I screw up again?"

Yes! I def need to make sure I am getting plenty of h2o! And my hunger has happened to occur or reoccur while I'm kind of sick. I was wondering if maybe my body was needing some nutrients to fight this thing. Everyone at my work has it with varying degrees. I just have headache/stuffiness and don't wanna do anything! Lol. But that's better than some of what I heard other people were experiencing with this. :(

I cook healthy for my Fam... Grill' date=' bake, broil, non fat spray, egg whites, skim cheese, 1% or skim milk, no candy or junk food in the house, salsa and baked tortilla wheat chips ok, etc. brown rice and whole wheat Pasta only... Stuff like that. I like making sure healthy eating is developed and part of their lives, therefore they teach there kids that. Also stress less tv, more reading and playing in and out of house for physical activities. Sometimes they even imitate us when we work out.

Family wellness.

dinner time is to take time eating and talking to each other, family time together then and in other ways. I learned from my previous marriage and from others who have and have not adopted a healthy family lifestyle. I can't let my hubby or kids be ok with "skinny fat" due to not having a better outlook on their health and being active....

It's just me, I have learned its best for my Fam, so if my hubby wants a treat and he knows I struggle with that particular type of food or it may trigger something then he needs to show it & choose to eat it away from me w no leftovers.... We are a team and bad habits developed over time have to be broken for success... He wants to be truly healthy so WE have to do it together.

My family was exactly like that. Ate dinner at the dinner table talking and then my world blew apart. I've had 2 surgeries within a month and half; I just went to my house to get the rest of my daughters and my stuff today to learn that my soon to be ex in-laws stole it all (about $20,000 in stuff); my husband is living w a Ho; he has broken several parts of the divorce petition, now the restraining order and I don't know if anything will be done about it because as of tight now he is in contempt of the court. My family ate dinner together religiously, most meals were healthy except pizza night.

Now I have a 16yo Jr in HS. That is dual enrolled in college. She is very busy and independent. So sometimes our times don't mesh up. I'm learning to be a single mom; recovering from surgeries and complications from the last one; work and unfortunately w an older teen and 1 parent she sometimes gets hungry before I arrive home or vice versa and if she doesn't want what I made, she can make her own. That is my family now after 22 years of marriage. I hate it but that is my family now.

So' date=' freaking out a little here. I am about 10 weeks out and it seems like my weight loss is starting to slow. Also, I seem more hungry than I was before. Anyone else?[/quote']

Gen, your ex-inlaws stole $20,000 worth of your belongings? Was this recent? I would be fuming mad. Actually, I don't even know how I would deal. Can't he be arrested for being in contempt?

When I was in the hospital week ago they did it. I was fuming. I called the cops and they came out and said it is a civil matter so they can't do anything. Monday morn at 8am I will b on my lawyers doorstep. I want all and what ever charge can b brought against them, I'm sure soon to be ex was in on it; during my surgery time he took 3 weeks leave from AF to obviously help. He hasn't been awarded the house as of yet. All contents in side were mine as well as occupancy of the house right now. As of now, the house is mine and my daughters. So other that breaking a restraining order, there is breaking and entrering, violations if court orders. When the cops told me its a civil matter and then asked if there is anything else I needed, I said "a gun w 2 bullets" so yes, I was more than fuming.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
