I'm feeling crappy since I ate salmon last night. I had to take papaya enzymes. Today my pouch just doesn't feel normal. Don't know what's going on but I'm not liking it.

Got a clean bill of health from my GYN Oncologist. No need for radiation or chemo. Cancer is gone. Although I have what might be a severe UTI or Bladder infection. Hurts to walk' date=' to sit, to pee, oh heck it hurts to do anything. Did a pee test and results will be in Thursday. Dr started me on the antibiotic for it now though. I get so weak with very little exertion. Run temperatures, just woke up freezing w a 101.3 temp. Ugh. Please let the antibiotics due the job!!!

Also he asked me are you sure this was more painful that the RNY. I said "Oh hell yeah." I guess he thought it wouldn't be. I said with RNY I was up and about right away. This one has beaten me up.

I have bronchitis, strep, UTI, and fever. Nebulizer treatments, broad-spectrum antibiotic. So hard to stay hydrated. Chewing on ice for throat, warm tea and the ice Water that melts. Unfortunately, Protein burns my throat so haven't gotten the required amount since Monday. Notice my hair is thinning and many strands on the brush and bath towels starting over last weekend. Since I was coming down sick I didn't even feel well enough to care, it is what it is.

I have a UTI as well looks like it could be a side effect for alot of us, probably from catheter. I was doing really good wasnt even having to use a poise pad. Now i can barely get to bathroom in time.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm having difficulty getting protein and fluids in :-( too since this last surgery. Do you take Biotin? I take 10,000mcg. I sure do hope that will help me out. Popsicles might help your throat too? I had a couple tonight only cuz of my fever. I was given 500 mg of Ciproflaxn for the UTI. My dad won't let me drive cuz yesterday I drove 20minutes from home and was falling asleep at the wheel. I had to call dad to keep me awake. So needless to say I'm extremely weak and tired a lot.

For all of us not feeling well, here's to getting better ASAP. Also to help prevent UTIs you could take a cranberry supplement that way you don't get all the sugar by drinking the juice. I started mine back up today.

I'm sorry to hear that :-( Get well soon. I know mine is from the last surgery. The catheter wasn't place properly and caused lots of pain. The tried resetting it 3 times but couldn't. Entire time it was in it was uncomfortable and hurt :-(

Oh and this is freaking me out...I had an entire can of Campbell's healthy request chicken corn chowder. It was so yummy. I ate 1/2 and ran around for about an hour then warmed up and ate the other half. Kinda scared me. We aren't supposed to be able to eat that much are we? I have pms like crazy and just wanna eat! Guess the surgery isn't gonna fix that! :(

I think if it's Soup it "slides". So you may not feel as full. PMS sucks! I used to love chocolate and salty chips.< /p>

I agree w the soup due to so much liquids being in it, I think that would be the best thing to eat if you're eating a larger quantity. Especially since you had a break.

Yeah. I was thinking that. It just kind of panicked me. I've always been one that has two bites and is full. I am able to eat more now which is scary in itself, plus eating all that Soup was like "whoa"! Lol. How much are you guys up to eating at a time? I'm supposed to be at 1/2 cup per meal.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
