Thanks for letting me know. Sounds like a bad idea.

I eat natural, no sugar added mandarin oranges without a problem. Maybe you could try them.

I'm 6 weeks out and have lost 28. I'm a slow loser but 9 to lose to onederland. If it weren't for the stall' date=' I would have hit it before next surgery, Jan 31. That was my goal. But oh well, need a new goal now.

Very good. Keep it up hun. Im just under 4 weeks and have lost 24 pounds. Well last ive checked at least. With more to go before i hit my onederland. But im getting there.

Down 45 pounds and loving life :) Can't wait to hit -50 and then 75!!! I am loving the compliments people give me. Selfish but I can't keep a smile off my face!

That's great Sammi. You are doing awesome :-) By the way, keep the smile on your beautiful face ;-)

Great find sammi! I would have never thought of fuze. Figured they had too much sugar. Is it like Water or juice? I have only had the peach/mango kind. Well before wls anyways.

Hmm I think it taste like juice! Also I have a question I really want grape juice. It has sugar but if I get a no added sugar 100% juice is that sugar okay? fruit just has sugar in it.... Thoughts? Does anyone drink juice?

My nut said only drink juice occasionally because you don't want to drink all your calories. I can tolerate the sugar in juice but some can not. My nut also suggested doing 1/2 Water and 1/2 juice to dilute it a bit and cut the calories. I still do that sometimes because some juices are really sweet to me!

Another post-op visit with Dr. Lahmann today. Can't wait to weigh! I try and wear very similar clothes each time so my weight is pretty accurate. Meeting up with friends at a restaurant afterwards for a birthday celebration. I think it will be a little overwhelming for me. food and drinks---- wasn't sure intially if I wanted to go...! First time out with friends since surgery.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
