9 ounces of total lean Protein Shake for Breakfast

1 SF popcicle

1/2 Wendy's small chili for lunch

1/2 Wendy's small chili for dinner

1 SF 4 ounce Italian ice

8 ounce 1% milk with 1/3 cup powder milk and half scoop of body fortress Protein Powder (trying different ways to get use to it again)

so that's it besides what little Water I have been sipping in between

I'm in the same boat as you with the calories. I even get hungry. My nutritionist doesn't see anything wrong with it. She said if I'm eating slow and chew chew chewing then I'm on track.

You're not doing anything wrong. Your pouch is still healing. The nerves are not letting you feel full yet.

Wendy's chilli is actually not bad health wise and provides Protein. Why soup if your not on that stage?

I'm not sure if its a good idea to eat Wendy's chili twice a day? I know it has protein' date=' but what about the grease?

Also u shouldn't consume so many Protein supliments when u are getting a lot through food. The shakes are high calorie.

that is good. that you are eating it slow. Like others have said I bet the nerves are still a bit numb. So don't be surprised if next week it is a bit harder to eat the same things you are this week. But sounds like you are doing it perfectly.

yeah the chili is on the list of foods surgeon said I can eat during this stage and it is like pouch friendly for now as we are to introduce new foods as trail and error. the small chili has under 300 calories and I eat on it like all day and it has 20 something grams of Protein so with me having to get 80 in. day surgeon said I still have to drink Protein Shakes as I will not eat enough to get the protein in. I called the office to make sure as I was really worried about this. so when given the all clear I went and bought 2 more for the next few days lol

600 calories a day is just fine and anything that helps you get ALL of you daily Protein in is a good thing. As others have mentioned, your pouch has stretch sensors which signal the brain when you're full. They are less effective immediately following surgery during the healing process. So don't be surprised if before long you start feeling full after eating less. Just keep your eye on getting all of that protein in every day. Stay focused on following the protocol, stay active and stay away from the scales. You're gonna love the new you!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
