Surgery date 10/18, but started liquid diet since 10/14. Since then: 9 lbs down! SO jazzed!!!

After reading your post I tried a small amount of chicken w/gravy ...so far so good. I am so scared of over-filling my pouch.

Hey Rhonda, my doctor said just make sure it's finely chopped, and moist and eat slow. Glad you tried it.

Oooohhhhh baby when I tell you I'm tired of jello' date=' broth and I know I have to continue after surgery.

Had my one week pos op visit. All went well. I have no problem getting in all my liquids and Protein. I'm cleared for soft foods now. Had staples taken out. Down 15 lbs since surgery, 23lbs so far. Pretty excited!!

I did after I got home bend wrong and split the incision in my belly button a little. It has stabbed over but has this happened to anyone else?

That's great news. I go Friday and am hoping to be able to start purée. I am tolerating everything well except my chewable Calcium which I just need to find a new one.

My surgeon says take Tums for your calcium.

Yeah they all are different, cause even when I went for my two week check up yesterday, she reminded me to continue taking everything else, just not the calcium until 6 wks. Now if wish I would of asked why only not that vitamin. Anyway we all have to do what were told, cause they know whats best for us.
