Omg I was craving chips and salsa and Mexican food so bad when I came home from the hospital. I hate the head hunger. I wasn't even hungry I just wanted it lol!!!

I'm telling it, it really is the "CAN'T HAVE RIGHT NOW LIST," we just have to make sure we support one another.

Surgery date October 10, 2012 converted from Lapband to RNY, begin weight 230, preop weight 219, now Oct. 18, 2012 weight 213

Dear God please give me strength!!! I really want to cry right now. My Husband made tacos for him and my Mom (who's here visiting and helping). This is just pure torcher. I just want to eat something so bad!!! I'm not even hungry. I don't know that I'm strong enough to make it some days.

Girl you have us along with him so there he's given you strength and support :)

Now after saying that I will say this FUNNY! I went and looked in the fridge last night after a nap and just wanted something BAD, so I looked at some COOKIE DOUGH,put two pinches in my mouth swished it around them spit it out. So there, WE ARE ALL GONNA GO CRAZY AT SOME POINT, WE JUST HAVE TO MAKE SURE WE DON'T COMPLETELY STAY THERE. LOL hope that gives you a laugh, cause I'm laughing just writing it :)

When that drain comes out you'll get some relief too! I felt atleast 60% better the second it was removed! Good luck!

I have had a good almost 24 hrs being home. Got to walk outside for a lil bit. Oh the gas has been wonderful. Not going to lie. I am touch n go with my pain meds. But since I just had surgery Thursday I think I'm doing well :)

Hope you are too :)

Definately will be better after the drain is out. I was thankful I didn't have to keep mine in.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
