Be strong. It will ne over before you know it!! Find something that will keep you motivated with the eye on the prize. Like look at outfits and focus!! You can do this!!

I got easier for me because I just started sleeping 13 hours a day I get up go to class(I never get hungry untill a couple of hours after I wake up) get home 6 hours later take a 5 hour nap wake up have "dinner" 2-3 hours after my nap then I'm usaly up for only another 2 hours

I'm actually having trouble getting all my "meals" in because I sleep so much also I dread them since within 15-30 min my stomach reminds me it hates milk based things

It only got bad for me in week two its taking everything in me not to eat and I have two more weeks to go. I am determined to get thru it, I promised myself and god that I wouldnt eat bad stuff and so far so good. I told myself even if no one else knew god and I would know so I gotta stay strong I also got alot of sf popcicles, im not a big fan Of Jello. I also pop sf mints at nite thats whrn my cravings start.

Yes anume stay strong. I wish I had ideas to help keep your mind off things. And its awful you have to do such a long pre diet. My doc only requires one week prior

And just think October hasn't even gotten here yet so I'm sure there will be plenty more! Two more weeks!!! I can't wait!

      Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.
