Acne

Has anyone broke out in acne after surgery. I am 6 weeks post op. I started having acne about a week ago. Mind you, I have never had acne maybe one or two my entire life. I am told it is because here re hormones stored in our fat cells and losing quickly brings acne. My chin is covered in like 20. Zits. Easily covered by makeup but still ugh. Since never having it I have n remedies does anyone have any.

losing fat causes a release of estrogen so this is likely to cause acne. with my skin which is sensitive, just using a gentle soap once a day or twice if needed and not wearing makeup to cover it up seems to be the best thing. once i start loading the skin up on drying products it gets worse.

also just watch your diet which could cause it and drink an extra few servings of Water which should really help as well. if it continues and appears to be cystic acne, contact your doctor and they may be able to prescribe something for it.

Yes! I'm 2.5 mos out and I've had it since about 5 weeks.

Horrible. Definitely due to hormones.
