My doc told me just to take a chewable multivitamin. However, I was told by someone that taking B-12 would help my skin's elasticity.

By the way, Marissa, you are gorgeous!!

WHY THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE RESPONSE AND THE COMPLIMENT! MAY I ASK IF YOU ARE MALE OR FEMALE? ONLY BECAUSE I KNOW MY DOCTOR TOLD ME THAT MENSTRATING FEMALES NEED TO TAKE AN ADDITIONAL Vitamin BUT I CAN NOT REMEMBER WHAT IT WAS. MAYBE Iron?

I am not sure about that Vitamin, but since you are younger it might be folic acid, Calcium, or magnesium. Sorry I wasn't much help doll.

If you take a sufficient multivitamin, there shouldn't be much more that you are needing other than your daily Protein and Calcium intake.

I totally recommend GNC's multivitamin for women. It has EVERYTHING you need in it and more. You can get it in liquid or get a pill-cutter to take it.

It is in a purple box with a pink flower on it - AWESOME!

This will crack you up!!! "but it works" flinstone Complete Chewables" now go back and read it again. I asked were they serious??? You bet ya!! This is out of Henry Ford Hospital, so I new they weren't kidding. It contains a certain ingredient Choline. They said that would be a very big plus to all of us. They also put me on Pepcid Complete. I get my Calcium from this, and no sighn of Acid Reflux at all. "I think that stopped when I got banded."

I am very serious, I feel great!!!!! Shirley....:laugh :laugh

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
