I Want to throw things!

Recommended Posts

I'm two weeks out tomorrow, my doc requires 4 weeks of liquids and when the girl in the office across from mine was eating potato chips a little bit ago I found myself wanting to throw something at her!! I had no idea how hard this would be and I really didn't think I would be the type to mourn food since this is my second go round (lapband patient for 6 years) but it's really starting to get to me, nothing sounds good, I really have no appetite but I think its because I realize there is no point. I know it will get easier but OMG ! I hope I don't injure anyone in the mean time!!

LOL

Please don't throw things- Maybe anger management courses should be a preop requirement?

I can relate! I had my band for 6 years and I'm 3 weeks post op today! I think it's improving everyday though, so that's good!! Hang in there....it'll all be worth it. :)

Aww that's awful. Sorry to hear you are struggling with it. Just remember you are going to be thinner than her with out all the heart attacks and stuff that comes with eating junk food!

Be proud of yourself that you A) didn't throw anything and B) are doing so good.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
