I love all your lists. I am going to start one of my own. Yesterday I realized that my watch fit me again. That's with being down 30 lbs. So excited for more good stuff to come.

I want to reach my goal weight and stay there!

I want to not be scared of anyone pulling out a camera to take pictures!

I want to be able to wear every single thing that has been in my closet for years!

These are my top 3 :-)

I can't wait to have a new years resolution other than "lose weight" for the first time EVER in my life.

I also can't wait to be thinner than my mother so she stops giving me the nasty looks and looking me up and down as she sucks in her stomach EVERY TIME SHE SEES ME

This is such a positive post and gives me something to focus on besides the scale the size of my jeans! Thank you so much.

I had some bucket list items myself but now I'm going to be able to add more because I'm going to add so many of yours.

1. Skydive --already know where I'm going when I hit my goal

2. Zipline

3. Fit in an economy airline seat (done)

4. Clean out the "fat clothes" from my closet (done)

5. Not be able to shop at Lane Bryant (done)

6. Buy lingerie from Victoria's Secret (done)

7. Be able to fold my long legs in the backseat of a car (done)

And many many more.

Adding this even (and ladies, you owe this to yourselves):

Being able to go get a Turkish bath without being mortified. (Korean bath, Moroccan bath--whichever you get, you'll lose skin cells you had laying around since kindergarten and you'll feel awesome).

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.
