Shutting off email notifications

Recommended Posts

I could only find the option when I logged in online (not mobile).

Try My Settings and then look to the left for 'Notification Settings' (or something similar). Should find everything you require to hush your inbox accordingly!

Hi, Go up to the right hand corner, under your user name go to "my settings", on the left to go "notifications", you can control how and what you receive. Hope that helps!

When you click notifications do you see boxes that are checked? If you do uncheck those boxes. Are you on your phone or on a computer/tablet?

On my phone (android) go to settings and uncheck notifications. I think you'll have to turn off the email notifications from your computer. I don't see it on my phone.

When you're on your computer, go to Your Name and click the down arrow.

Choose “My Settings”. Once there, look at the column on the left and select "Notification Options." This is the 2nd from last item on the list.

When setting your options, choose to be notified of any from the Community Administrator. Next, under Topic & Posts, choose to receive notifications in a "Daily Digest." That should clear up the problem, and you will only get one email a day. I also select “Notification List,” which corresponds to an icon online, located next to the message icon. When you get a notification, it will show up on your computer in your Notification List. Click the icon, and you’ll see the notifications for quick online reference.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
