21/2 weeks out and vomiting

I had surgery 9/3. I have been doing well, but today I've been vomiting when I eat and there is lots of mucous and bile involved. My gall bladder is out, but I have been having right upper quadrant pain all day. Any ideas? Thanks so much, kathy

Call your MD. Can you get and keep liquids down? (this in important to avoid dehydration)

I forgot to say I do take nexium 2 times day

CALL YOUR DOCTOR!

My surgery was also on 9/3 and my recovery has been uneventful - no vomiting - acid reflux - pain - only slight infrequent cramping.

Vomiting so soon after surgery is dangerous. You can tear something so much easier. Def call ur doc

It could be that you ate to much...Call your sugeon, better to be safe than sorry.

Go back to liquids or wat way less. And chew into pieces. But call doc anyways...

I was told vomiting is not normal. If you are vomiting, call your doctor ASAP.

Thank you everyone. Dr says go back to liquids and call back if no improvement
