Las nite at the fite party I had a reg baked party wing a fried party wing a tspoon of tuna five crackers and four tortilla chips..my friend ws like u ok.. I ws like oh I'm gud...my plate looked like a kids meal...but I jus took my time...that lasted three hrs then my belly ws hungry again..I stopped at wendys I got a chix sandwich, fries, n chili...I had a few fries..n ws gon max thay sandwich n chili...on the way hm.. I chnged my mind..I gv the fries n sandwich to a homeless dude at the freeway exit..I came hm tried the chili..not wut I expected..so I ate a few spoonfuls of the brw Beans a six crackers... im allowed real food now so..today..my aunt cooked supper..I'm gonna graze on carrots, turkry, n try som collard greens...

Wendy's grilled chicken sandwich (-the bread) and chili are keeping me alive. The chicken has 35 gr Protein and the chili is about 20 with cheese. Obviously, I don't eat it all at once. It's an all day situation, lol. From lunch on. But, I'm getting much more protein now that I can eat real food. Water is my new issue. I'm getting about 30 oz, so half of what I'm supposed to get. It kills me to wait 30 min after I eat to drink. As of last Monday I was down 28 pounds in 3 1/2 weeks. I'll weigh again tomorrow. I started at 335 so I cannot wait to get under 300!

Do you just eat the chicken in the sandwich? mayo or no mayo?

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
