Loggin-in and getting logged out...

Recommended Posts

Hi Alex -

Maybe this is just a weird phenomonen today, but after I log in, if I select "home" I am automatically logged out again.

Hopefully this is just a weird glitch for today?

Hey, by the way - LOVE THIS BOARD!!! Thank you SO much for starting it!

Yes, Alex, thank you so much! I'd like to hear a little bit about you and what caused you to start "Lapband". (Whoops, should that be another thread?)

I know you're addressing the other Alex, the one who founded the board and is the technical wiz, but I don't know how often he reads anymore. As far as the logging in and out thing goes, that may be a cookie issue on your own computer. That's my only guess.

No, not a cookie issue. I even went to advanced options and specifically APPROVED Cookies from LBT, regardless of any other settings. This is happening to me on my other computer, as well... ?????

Very frustrating.

Ahhhh... But if I DON'T use the "home" button, but click back to the beginning of the path that's listed above the new post box (i.e. LapBandTalk.com Forums >), I DON'T get logged out, and can click on the "View New Posts" again before I choose to mark everything read.

Okay, I just have to change my process... Still scratching my head, but this will work, I guess! :)

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
